Change the look of an osCommerce site
osCommerce is not a template driven system, but also osCommerce effectively allows quick changes to the look of the site by altering the shared header, footer, and left and right column files. These can be easily and quickly updated and the change is reflected through all pages. It is also possible to quickly change the styles and columns on the site by using the site-wide cascading stylesheet. These files provide a fast way to change the look of an osCommerce site:

Please reading the “osCommerce on Fedora Core 4” first.
Warning: The sessions directory does not exist: /tmp. Sessions will not work until this directory is created.
Fix it:
Plesk -> mydomainname.com -> setup -> servies
Set the PHP ’save_mode’ to off
osCommerce on Fedora/CentOS
(note: osCommerce version after 2.2RC1 does not need this)
need to put these settings in .htaccess:

php_value register_long_arrays 1
